Steve attended Winona State University, where he graduated from in 1999. From Winona State he went on to Edgewood College where he received degree in accounting. After receiving that degree, he successfully passed the CPA Exam.
Prior to joining Meicher CPA’s Steve spent over 15 years in banking focusing on Business Banking, Finance and Mortgage Lending. He is a great resource for our clients assisting them in those areas as well as a focus on business and personal tax mitigation and compliance.
Steve is a member of the Wisconsin and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active member of the Town of Middleton Finance Committee assisting the town with all finance related matters. Steve sat on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants confirmation panel for the CPA Exam, which provides guidance and feedback related to changes being recommended to the nationwide exam.
Steve has also been active in the business community, receiving the prestigious In Business 40 under 40 Award.
